No more RT-PCR test requirement for fully vaxxed Bohol travelers
Travelers to Bohol will only need full proof of vaccination and a government issued ID card to enter.
But local carriers Philippine Airlines and Cebu Pacific said proof of vaccination should be a certificate from the vaxcert.doh.gov.ph website, adding that the document would replace the negative Reverse Transcription-Polymerase Chain Reaction (RT-PCR) result. .
As an additional requirement for entry to Bohol, travelers must also obtain approval through the S-Pass, which is a requirement of the local government unit.
Cebu City previously waived the RT-PCR result and decided to accept the vaccination card with a QR code and a valid ID card.
If the immunization card does not have a QR code, they need certification from their local health units.
In Mandaue City, all guests arriving with a vaccination record or vaccination certificate will be exempt from presenting a negative RT-PCR result.
Roxas City also followed suit.
But it was clarified that a person is considered fully vaccinated at least 14 days after receiving the second dose of a two-dose series, or at least 14 days after receiving a single dose vaccine.
