“Ka Oris”, the top leader of the New People’s Army (NPA) in Mindanao, was killed during a meeting with government forces in the town of Imapasugong in Bukidnon at dawn on Saturday, October 30, 2021. His death could be a blow to the rebels. armed struggle in northern and northeastern Mindanao.

The Department of Education (DepEd) also announced that the Christmas holidays in public primary and secondary schools will be from December 20, 2021 to January 2, 2022.
