Aboitiz Construction develops 57 ha of LIMA Estate – Manila Bulletin


Aboitiz Construction has reached the agreement to develop the second phase of the industrial land expansion of subsidiary LIMA Estate in Lipa-Malvar, Batangas, the first announced on March 7.

The project, which will generate 22,000 jobs, covers 57 hectares and will be completed next year.

It expands LIMA Estate’s inventory of industrial lots by building its Block 9-2 site to accommodate new businesses.

Aboitiz Construction will carry out site leveling, slope protection and road construction activities as well as drainage, water and sewer works.

“This expansion project will surely boost the local economy of Batangas and strengthen our capabilities in engineering and design as well as construction,” said Levi Agoncillo, Aboitiz Construction’s vice president for business development, construction planning. tendering, engineering and design.

The company is hiring 150 workers for the project.

The Outlets at Lipa, a 9-hectare cluster-type mixed-use retail facility.

It consists of 10 single-story structure units, 12 double-story structure units, a multipurpose field and mini parks.

To date, Aboitiz Construction has been a trusted partner of LIMA Land in the construction of structures under light industries since 2018.

Additionally, Aboitiz Construction was responsible for the design and construction of LIMA Exchange, a 2.6 hectare commercial development directly across from The Outlets at Lipa.

It consists of four mixed-use commercial structure units, a sports complex with offices and commercial units, and two transport terminals.

To support the ongoing expansion and growth of LIMA Estate, Aboitiz Construction recently completed the design and construction of a 69 kV overhead transmission line for LIMA Enerzone.

This project will help improve the reliability of the power supply to the business area as it welcomes new locators.
